First of all, this case is a very good design for all the fitting and cut-outs, along with the overall look. I like it. Functionally, it suffers from the same thing as any flip open case for a device with touch screen operation... it will occasionally get in the way. When operating the iPhone on it's side (horizontal) the front cover part will be annoyingly in the way. Removal of the phone might be necessary to avoid the resulting aggravation. It may seem a little bulky, and when you're talking on it, the flap is kind of annoying, but the case itself is well worth it. Comes with a screen protector as well. Unlike most other cases, this one actually allows you to access all the parts of the iPhone. It definitely does a good job at protecting the phone. However, I'm a little disappointed that the material just began to wear out (I see color changes and even a small tear about to happen) yet I had the case for only 2 months. Some other horizontal hip cases have open corners and I was concerned I'd bump into something like a desk and scratch up the phone. This model keep phone mostly secure.
